This is my first time on something like this. I'm a single mum of two who works full time running a horse stud and think I have forgotten about myself. I want to be able to walk past my reflection and recognise the person I see. Am very nervous about failing another get fit kick this time I'm after a life change.

Hi I'm new too. I understand how you feel about failing. I feel the same way but I feel this is a great starting point and a fantastic resource. Let's keep eachother motivated. I'll send you a friend request :)

You both are right. It is a great starting point and you both can do it. I credit MFP for helping me keep my goals in sight as I lost close to 100 pounds. Now I am on to my next goal to lose some more and repair the harm I did to me over the holidays...
Anyone feel free to add me. I have an open diary, I love new friends, cool post, and messages in my inbox.
I hope I can be a helpful friend...
The best advice right off the start. Log, Log, Log... Keeping a record of calories in and out will help you with curving your diet and activity. MFP is the best for keeping that log.
    Best of luck to you!
