Last 5 - 10 lbs...sooo hard, any mental tips or tricks?

I know everyone will say, keep eating at a deficit. But I really want to tone up my midsection & lose the last 5-10 lbs after having my second kid 18 months ago. In general I am happy, like to eat, excercise pretty consistently but can't get my head in the right place to lose the last bit. I think it's because I know I don't really NEED to in order to feel good about myself. But I would like to look a bit better in a bikini this spring.
I am all about mental tricks and games to do things that are hard. Like I can trick myself into working out by telling myself that I'll only run for 10 minutes or something. That being said...Do you have any mental tricks/games that you play on yourself to get calories down per day? I am eating at maintenance on a weekly average (eat/drink more on weekends) but would like to get into a long term habit of eating less in general.
