Thats my hope for this year . I am hoping to log in more regularly and am really bad at weighing the food . So I know the two changes I must make.
Wish everyone all the best .
starting weight =134 lbs
hoping to be 122 lbs by dec 2017 ( this was how much I weighed when I was 22yrs old )

That is an awesome, realistic goal! I lost 50 lbs over 2.5 years. Slow, but what was lost stayed lost. You'll do great! Happy new year!9

I've lost 60ish lbs since 2014. Went from 222 to 198 and stayed there for a while. From 198 to 176; followed by another pause. And, finally, where I am right now, 176 to 160. I've paused again for a bit and my next mini-goal will be 145 (my final goal is 133). By losing slowly, I've managed to keep it off without too much difficulty or feeling deprived.
Best of luck to you!9 -
I am weighing in the same and want to get to 120. I believe a slow and steady weight loss is better for my body and improves the chance of successfully keeping the weight off.4

Very realistic goal!! That was my 2016 goal (I started at 151lbs). Ended 2016 at 136, and surpassed my goal. I love slow weight loss, I never feel "starved."
Set your MFP goal to 0.5lb/wk loss, mostly hit it (hey, realism, we go above sometimes). Eat, evaluate loss pace, repeat, and profit!5 -
thats a fantastic, realistic goal! Youve got this!3

Woo hoo! Good for you! Best of luck.3

Loving this goal! What a healthy approach...you can do this!
I've been working on 100 lbs since 2013. I've lost 80 of it, have 20 to go. Not at all upset that I've done it slowly because it's kept me from going nuts.3 -

That would be a great achievement. I was 78.8 kg in july 2014. I'm now between 67.5 and 68.5. Final goal is 66 kg, so i'm very close to goal and that takes oodles of time.0

Way to go! Kudus for having healthy, realistic goals1

Eye ball portions instead of weighing the food up, I study about eye balling portion up and mastering the key is the best way to do more accurate logging0

129.4 today
This has been the trend since memorial day weekend0 -
but it is not a surprise. I have been slacking for the past few weeks
Time to get moving again , I guess

You said your goal was 122, the weight you were when you were 22 years old. How tall are you? How old are you now? It could be that 122 is not a practical goal for you any more and you'd be better served by focusing on a body recomp if you're unhappy with how you look, and less on the scale.1 -
