I trying to figure out how to set my macro whereas I can lose weight. Someone told me to set it carbs 40, fat 20, pro 40 and 1200 cal daily, which I think is wrong. I'm 48yrs old (look younger), height 5'5 and weigh 150lbs. My goal is to reach 134lbs by May 2...I work out six days a week 45 mins cardio and maybe 2 or 3 times a wk of strength training. I'm more heavy at the bottom than on top that were i carry most of my weight. I would love to tone my butt and thighs. I have a personal trainer but I'm not sure I like how she train me she good but she into figure completion which I am not planning on doing she work u hard as far lifting sometimes my body feel sore. Please any advice and please be honest

It's not 'wrong', it's just whatever works for you. You don't need that much protein, so could add more carbs and/or fat if you like?

Also, with only 16lbs to lose, 1200 seems very low. At 41, 5'5", I was eating at 1450 to lose the last 15 and 1600 when I hit the last 5lbs. (CW range 135-140)
