Help with carbs

Can you eat too many carbs in the form of fruit and beans? I'm planning out meals and it seems like I'll be consuming around 200 and based on my 1300 cal intake, it's recommended that I eat 163 in carbs. Does the fact that the carbs that I'll be eating are in the form of fruit and beans have less of a negative impact?

I never had any issues with going over/under any of the recommended amounts of Protein/Fat/Carbs on MFP. As long as I stuck to my calorie goal, I was good and weight loss occurred. Now, how I *felt* on any given day may have been affected by those various amounts. Some people do better with higher protein and lower carbs, some people do better with more carbs and less protein. Some people need lower amounts of both and need more fat.
You will need to find where you feel best. It could be that 200 in carbs is ideal for you and you will still lose weight with your calories at 1300. Or you may find that your are starving on that and need to increase your protein.1 -
Carbs in general, regardless of source, aren't bad for most people (some medical conditions excepted). It becomes an issue if you are unable to get enough fats and proteins to keep you healthy, or otherwise crowd out nutrition, or find that you feel hungry regularly. Personally, I aim for my protein and fat goals, and then let the carbs fall where they may. Sometimes that's over 200g, sometimes it's under.3

Is eating that many carbs limiting how much protein and fat you're eating? (try to eat at least the minimums for these...)
Is eating predominantly fruit and beans limiting the amount of vegies you're eating? I'd swap some out if you're not getting at least 5 serves of vegies a day0 -
Thanks, everyone. That helped.
As far as veggies go, I don't like them. I know. I will try to make myself gradually add them into my diet. For now, I'm just taking a daily multi-vitamin.livingleanlivingclean wrote: »Is eating that many carbs limiting how much protein and fat you're eating? (try to eat at least the minimums for these...)
