Black Bean Burgers

FYI, MSF makes chipotle black bean "crumbles" (at least I'm pretty sure they're from MorningStar Farms), but if you're trying to use the burgers you already have: (1) even if you have them as a patty, there's no reason to add a bun -- treat them like a chop or a steak, add gravy (I think a chili-spiked "gravy" made from butter or vegan butter/oil, assuming you're either vegetarian or vegan, plus flour and veggie stock would be good) or salsa or tomato-based pasta sauce, or top with a mexican cheese blend if you eat dairy, or vegan cheese if you like; (2) serve as a patty with rice (and more beans if you like), plus whatever "Mexican" accompaniments you like (cheese, sour cream, avocado, corn-based salsa or salad, tortillas, etc.); (3) crumble over pasta and add tomato-based sauce or salsa for a quick Cincinnati-style "chile" (add cheese, sour cream, avocado, etc. as you prefer).2

I typically top my veggie burgers with a slice of cheese and an over easy egg.2

I like that with over easy egg! Will try! Thanks!0

I had this same problem after I exhausted every way a black bean burger could be eaten! You should try sweet potato chickpea burgers, they'rere super easy to make and a nice change:)1
