Garmin Vivoactive counts steps but doesn't pull through a calorie adjustment on MFP

Can someone help please? If I track a run or swim on my garmin I will get extra calories on MFP. However when I used to use a fitbit step tracker I would get a calorie adjustment depending on the number of steps I do.
With garmin it doesn't give a calorie adjustment for steps. Can this be fixed?

Are you sure you're taking enough steps above the threshhold of your activity level to deserve a calorie adjustment?

If you're synching correctly with other activities, that's the first thing I can think of...

I have the VivoActive HR and it pulls through both for me fine. Today I have 293 exercise calories and 154 step calories. It's maybe a bit high as my chest strap recorded 268 calories for the exercise, but I do get both.

I'm guessing there is something set up wrong, but not sure what it could be. Did you completely remove the Fitbit app from MFP? Maybe it is expecting those steps?

Ther might be something going on with the servers, I've got some really odd results from GC today.

Could be as well. I see different heart rates from the same activity on two different pages. Heart rate page shows a max of 143 while the Fitness page shows 154. Same device, same specific run this morning giving 2 different results.

It's all subject to change, but as of right now there isn't any documented problem with the Garmin/MFP connection:
