I jave around 14 stone to loose. Week 1 weigh in I've loat 3lbs. Bit disappointed as I've always lost a lot the first week.....Maybe my body isn't fooled anymore and thinks here she goes again lol. I know this is a life change and it will take a long time to loose the weight and I just have to think I'm smaller this week than I was last week!

Nah, 1 week isn't really enough time. You have to wrap your head around not letting the number on the scale upset you or it will derail your progress. Make some non scale goals too that helps take the focus off a number on a scale:)

Your weight will fluctuate especially for women. I'm up 2 lbs and I know its water retention. Do I like to see the number no BUT I know its not fat and I know it will go down in a few days and sometimes its 3 lbs down:).

Hang in there. Read the forums for encouragement!

Same thing happened to me this time and I stuck it out and have lost over 70 pounds! Maybe it's a good sign...

Big losses in the first week, whilst they can be motivating, aren't fat loss, they are largely water and excess waste in the gut. And what we want to lose is fat, so don't let this be any sort of a discouragement because most people can go weeks during this process without scale movement, particularly as they get closer to goal. Settle in and get used to the ups and downs because consistency is what really matter.
