I have spent a lot of money on shoes over the years, up to some hand-made Italian kicks that were stupidly expensive. But i always come back to the Dockers Trustee Oxfords as the best, most comfortable, bang for the buck. I usually pick them up around $55 or less.

But I am always open to suggestions. Do you have a favorite men's dress shoe that is comfortable and under $75?

You are way too young for these. Have you ever tried a driving loafer?

Look to much like slippers, at least what I have looked at. I do like more traditional looking shoes, so Oxfords fit me nicely. I did have a great pair of Hudson Hadstone Canvas shoes, which I liked. They were more casual and not as comfy.

I have also owned some Brogues shoes, and that is a style that mixes a saddle shoe classic look with contemporary vibe. One that mixes the Oxford and canvas style might be cool...but certainly not getting Paul Stuart shoes in the $75 range. Last pair I bought was closer to $300.

These are badass!! Did you find that the higher end shoe lasted a bit longer though?

Not really, but my issue is I wear them daily for work so I wear through everything pretty quick. So I settled on the Dokkers and I go through a few pairs a year. I have some super nice dress shoes though, but I was hoping to find something like that brogue cheapy style.

There are some Steve Madden, Stacy Adams, Cole Haan and even some Skechers similar to those Brogues. Though the Skechers might be discontinued. All are around 150 or less too.

For an important business meeting or Sunday church service, these are my go-to:

Cole Haan has some nice dress shoes that use the Nike air cushioning. They're very comfortable and you don't have to sacrifice style (depending on your taste).
