Caramelized onions...

OMG! I just did a search on MFP for caramelized onions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there REALLY that many calories in just cooked onions?!!!!! OMG!:sad: :grumble:

If you cook a food the caloric content does not change...unless you caramelize them in butter or some other calorie laden substance. I did some research and 1 cup of onion runs around 60 calories depending on the type of onion. I caramelize mine with a zero cal cooking spray and they are good to go!
