Hi. A couple of questions. My goals are to lose about 15 pounds and look more muscular. Gain some ab definition, lose inches, be able to see muscles in arms and legs.

I get confused with these terms - cut and bulk and recomp. I just want to achieve the above - not a competitor or anything. Do I need to learn what these terms mean?

Also, once I'm back from the holidays, i plan to follow a strength training program. I may have some schedule flexibility. Does it matter if I do three full body workouts a week, 4 day upper body split, other?

    Thanks.

Well from my understanding a cut is just when you're cutting calories to look leaner while bulk means to put on weight to build muscle meaning taking in more calories but me personally I think you are trying to cut to show more definition so you need to be in a caloric deficit. Now when it comes to your workout routine you can do full body as much as you want just make sure your doing compound movements like bench press, squats and pull ups because they work more muscles than just one and burn more calories than doing isolated exercises like curls.. Oh yeah doing cardio will help you burn more calories too even if just 20 minutes before your workout hopes this helps.. If you have any more questions shoot me a message

Thank you! I'm hoping cardio after workout works just as well. I find I don't have as much "oomph" afterwards.
