The subject title pretty much sums it up... I've just switched from the MFP rules to TDEE, my understanding of it is you take 20% off of your daily maint cals and do not log exercise? Am I right?
any tips, tricks and points?
thanks

Correct....using the TDEE method you do not add in exercise calories. If you want to maintain, eat at your TDEE. To lose, take a percentage off your TDEE, just like you are doing. Give it a couple weeks where you are at, and then if you aren't losing, take a little more off. Looks like you are on the right track. Good luck!0

I'm using the same method, but with the setting gain muscle, lose fat. I stopped logging my exercise on MFP and don't eat the exercise calories back. It simplifies things quite a bit.0
