Hi all, so I am trying to set my Micronutrient Guide, I am wanting to do a 1200 calorie a day goal (150g Carbs, 40g Fat, 60g Protien) but I am also trying to set my Micronutrients.
With fats how to break down how much poly, mono, saturated etc. I think I worked out I need 43 g of fat in my diet, how do you spilt up that into the types of fat? I know I don't want to even it all out and want as little to none trans fat. I know to limit my saturated fat, but the poly and mono fats, which ones.

Would this be a safe bet?
sat fat - 8g
poly - 20g
mono - 20g
trans - 2g?

And now lets talk sugar.... I know bad bad bad. But some stuff like natural sugars are necessary. I am not talking about added sugars. Here in canada, we eat too much sugar and our dietitians have no magic number? Is 6 tsp (24 grams) too much?
