Over the past 2 months of keeping a 1200 calorie dairy and 3-4x a week workouts I've pretty much maintained my weight. My goal is is recomp (skinny fat here) so I shouldn't be expecting too much. I recently went to a 1450 diet. I feel guilty and worried I'll gain if don't workout after increasing. I can reason that 1500 I won't gain weight. But its frustrating to be at 1200c and not lose. I'm guessing Ill gain at 1500 bc of that. And the mirror hasn't changed too much. My weight fluctuates between 113 and 109 and hasn't moved in at least 3 months. How do you guys stay motivated if you aren't seeing results? All my friends question why I diet and workout so much when they don't notice anything...which hurts and kills my motivation. My only thoughts are to try to weigh my food to make sure its more accurate. But I know obsessing isn't healthy too. What are ways to not be so hard on myself? I feel so guilty if I don't log 100%, workout, get in enough protein, etc. It feels like I've wasted the day. Any advice?

Edit: sorry realized this should be in a different thread but can't figure out how to delete/move it.

Asking how to stay motivated when the scales don't move? Sounds like the right thread to me!

As far as the rest goes, it sounds like your doing all the right things! What's your aim? 109-113 sounds very light to me, but then again even when I have lost my weight I will be at approx. double what you are at now.

Trying to tone up. I'm within normal but I'm small framed and short so I don't look as thin. Is it normal to do all the right things but still no progress? I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong or impatient.

Since you're very light at 109-113 I would recommend start taking measurements and see how that turns out after a month. If you're wanting to tone up you'll be gaining muscle which will make you lose inches but you'll either maintain weight or gain weight.

Planet fitness express circuit, 50 squats, 10 mins of strong curves exercises, and some yoga.
