Hello,
I'm looking for advice on what to do in my situation. I've recently discovered I have hypo lordosis. I've researched about this, and know that I need to stretch my hip flexors and strengthen my abs, glutes etc. I know what exercises I should do and I hope it helps in the near future. My issue is that every time I squat/deadlift, my back feels stiff and it just feels really awkward when doing those exercises. The following day after a workout, my hamstrings always feel really tight and painful also. My problem, I feel is that I don't know whether it's down to just bad form or whether my hypo lordosis is causing this. If it's the former, I'm pretty sure I can correct it. If it's the latter, do I just stop squatting/deadlifting until I fix my hypo lordosis? It's really ****ed my mind because I really enjoy lifting and was planning to buy a power rack this month to build a home gym. I also wanted to cut 30 to 50lbs by july/august and look my best. So this news has sort of ****ed my mind. Do I just focus on cardio? As I said, I could do with some advice.
Thanks

If you want to lose weight, focus on your calorie intake.
As for the other, you might make an appointment with a physiotherapist who specialises in sports and ask some questions.0 -

I do focus on my calorie intake. I just don't like the idea of not lifting and cutting at the same time. I don't want to lose muscle mass or just be a smaller version of myself.0
