I think some support in this community would be really helpful to me so I want to start out with a little bit about myself. Mind you, I don't usually like talking about this, but I feel that it's necessary.
Pretty much my entire life I've been battling eating disorders. I just had one of those families where I was raised to think that way about food and exercise and no one realized it was wrong. To put it simply, I've been cycling through Anorexia, Bullimia, and Binge eating ever since I was 7 years old, from what I can remember.
When I was 19, I finally opened up about it to my therapist and requested help, because I had been fighting it on my own for years and I wasn't getting any better. I'm 21 years old, now, and I've improved a lot. However, I gained a lot of weight over the holidays and would like to lose it.
This has happened in the past and I could never stick to doing it healthy for too long because progress was slow or there was none at all. So...I suppose my request is for support, healthy ideas for food and exercise, and positive thoughts.
