Hi
I am wondering how do you calculate calories of cooked food. I just finished eating a burger that I made myself.

Now the while I was bbqing it, I could see that it had a lot of fat in it(I usually like to make my own burgers with extra lean ground beef but did not have time...so I usually have some spare bought ones at home)
I decided to weigh it and the weight came out to be 63grams. That is almost half of the raw value. So does that mean everything(fat, calories, etc) are now cut in half?

well it must be less. Did not think it was 50%.0 -
Water is dense. Really dense. There's a reason that restaurants quote the before-cooking weight of foods. Most of the missing weight is water. Use the pre-cooked values.0
