I'm 46 and I am going to lose 69 pounds. I've been exercising regularly, with a trainer, for a year. My weight has stayed pretty constant, though I'm a lot healthier now. I talked it over with my trainer, and he suggested I try logging and referred me here. It's my fifth day. My biggest takeaway so far is that I was eating WAY too little. Oi. Let's hope that the astonishing amount of food I've been consuming creates some movement at the scales, lol. Oh, and my trainer prefers to use a body fat percentage, rather than the scale, to track healthy size.

Anyone recommend a white wine that is not so bad for diets? I am usually a beer drinker, but would like to try drinking white wine when out during the summer.

I've read that alcohol can slow your system down the next day as far as exercise; maybe there's a non-alcoholic alternative you can incorporate that will help support your movement goals?
