Hi everyone. After four years of coming to terms with my sons disability (autism) I have gained 30 lbs that I am hoping to take back off. Any help, words of encouragement and understanding is appreciated!

Hi Anna
I know the stresses of caring for a disabled child as I was a carer to my late daughter for 28 years, its hard and that's why in that role I could not manage to lose weight and it just went up and up. Three years ago I joined here and have stayed focused and although the weight loss as slowed down I'm sticking with it and feel so much better. I wish you all the best and wish your little one well.0 -
Gotta be rough I have to be honest and no one blames you for for taking time to come to terms with something like that. My words of advice are simple. JUST GET STARTED! Don't think about it too much, just get started. Join a gym, start running, just start getting back into that routine. Once that has happened then you can start thinking about diet, specific exercises, macro counting etc.0
