Hello Everyone
I am a type 2 diabetic and I had a stroke about 9 months ago. I had my stroke after running a 10k race and as a result I have lost 40% of my eyesight and I struggle with speaking and have a major problem with thinking. I have started here as I want to take greater control over my exercise and diet. I am not a typical diabetic or stroke survivor but keeping fit and eating properly has become more important to me. I live in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, UK. Please add me if you want.

I am so sorry to hear about your stroke damage. Tough result. I admire your desire to take control of your diet and exercise. It can only help. I am a Canadian with an Australian husband. I eat low carb and so does my DH who is a diabetic. If you are interested, please send me a friend request.1
