Which is more accurate digital or slider scale?

Lately I have being weighing on the old slider scale, you know the kind they had in schools. I seem to weigh less on this particular scale vs the digital. Which scale should I trust, oldie but goody or the digital age?

Digital depends upon accuracy of the load cell which can vary depending upon manufacturer, the slider is just a counterweight0
