Exercise Tracking?

I use a Fitbit One to track my steps and workouts and right now I have it connecting to My Fitness Pal. Would it better for me to enter my steps and workouts manually in MFP that way I can track other exercise I get throughout the day? I am not quite sure what to do and which is best for me. Can anyone help me?

No, let your Fitbit handle the exercise.
If you do something that isn't steps (biking or swimming, for example), log the workout in the Fitbit app. The Fitbit app should have better calorie estimates for you than MFP will.
If you want your MFP friends to know what activities you do, make a post on your feed.

I don't have a fitbit, but what stops you from logging exercise that the fitbit would not track like say swimming. As far as I know, you just leave things synced, and when you log exercise that fitbit doesn't cover, it will ask for the starting time and send that exercise to the fitbit site to make sure your daily calories are not double counted.1
