FOCUS T25 Knee Injuries

I finished the Alpha phase of T25 about a month ago. About a week afterwards, I developed a knee issue that still hasn't resolved itself. The injury wasn't even an injury. It just sprung up out of nowhere with swelling. If I even twist on it the slightest during everyday activity, it hurts. I can't get a full range of motion bend when trying to work the tightness out of the muscles and tendon. I'm wondering if this was from over developing the muscles around the knee with all the lunges and squats during the five weeks of the alpha phase. I've heard of people developing issues during the program, but had anyone had issues with their knees after the program?

Could be.. or from incorrect form, or not enough rest, or a pre-existing knee issue, or something else. Regardless, you should get it checked out by a doctor. You will probably need to see a specialist for a proper diagnosis. Hopefully you don't have a torn meniscus. :+1:

T25 Alpha is really an all out assault on the lower body. I tweaked an achilles the 1st time I tried getting through that phase. Never had any knee issues though. Maybe move on to a program a little less savage on the lower body. P90X3 is much more well rounded as far as the BeachBody programs go.
