Hello everyone. I'm Martin and just had beef stew. but in entering I see its in ladles and not grams. How do I convert grams to ladles. say 500 grams = what ladle size? I would appreciate some help on this matter. Many Thanks.

Really unable to judge based on size. I would avoid using entries that don't use grams or oz. If it is generic or homemade chances are it is based on what a member may have entered using their ingredients which may not be the same for your stew.

Nearly everyone's "beef stew" is going to be different. More potatoes in one, more beef in another, different recipe for stock in yet another... Additionally, there are different ladle sizes. As such, who knows?

There's probably another generic entry for beef stew that uses grams as unit of measure, so for now, just look again and use that. In the future, you can use the recipe builder feature.

I may be confused.....but ladles come in different sizes. Unless you know the size ladle used in the entry there is no point in converting it to grams.
