Fitbit charge HR calories incorrect

I am not sure how to post on the Fitbit forums from my phone so I decided I would try here first.
I got a charge HR today from a friend and have it set up. I am 120lb and 5'1". I naturally burn ~1200 calories a day doing nothing. Fitbit calculated that I've burned over 3000 calories today. With my old flex it never estimated much over 2000 even on days I walked 6+ miles. Does anyone know of a way to reset or fix this since it is clearly incorrect. There's no way having walked 14k steps today that I've burned an additional 1800+ considering I've only walked, not run.
Thanks,

Give it a week or two for your fitbit "to get to know you". I have heard some people get crazy calorie burns in the beginning.1

Double check your stats on the Fitbit app - make sure it has the correct height and weight and is using the correct units (lbs and inches, not kg/cm). You might even want to switch to wrong numbers, do a sync, then switch to the correct ones again.

You might also try adjusting your stride length.0
