I've been here a couple times and I'm back, determined to get this weight off. My name is Eileen and I'm a 61-year-old recently retired copy editor (forcibly retired). I had gastric bypass in 2004 and went from 355 to 167, keeping most of it until 2010, when a lot of changes happened in my life. Even then, I kept a lot off until 2013. Then it really started to climb. I have had two knee replacements that have left me in a lot of pain, and also have spinal arthritis. So I hurt a lot. With my retirement, I'm home a lot more than before. It's important I get this weight off.
