my fitness pal said when I completed my log that if every day were like today I would weight 713 pounds in five weeks....(obviously I know this statement isn't true and could never be) has anyone else had this problem?? Is there any certain thing that it has trouble reading or glitches it??I was kinda excited to see it at the end of today. (like a little ray of hope!!)

lol, no I mean seeing my projected weight loss as a ray of hope, and I was super disappointed when it wasn't there and this 713 pounds was, because obviously that is just not possible (thank god, I would never want it to be!!). I entered like 1,000 calories I believe, but I had to use the "quick add" calories to be able to complete the day. Does that throw it off??

I mistyped my weight! So I logged that I weighed 700ish pounds. so mfp rolled with it I fixed it now though, and I fixed my calorie info. I tried taking the quick adds off last night, because I thought it would maybe fix it?? (Of course it didn't)

SO what was it giving you as a calorie goal? Just curious.

The far bigger concern is how little you are eating. You should be eating at least 1200. Based on the amount of exercise you are logging, you should be eating far more that 1200, yet most days you don't even reach 1000. You are severely under eating and while you will lose weight, most of it will not be fat, it will be lean mass from muscles and organs. Also, longer term you will start suffering from malnutrition with things like hair loss, brittle nails, and more. You do not need to starve yourself to lose weight.

thank you for the advice! I recently cut out the soda. Apparently that is where most of my calories were coming from. (oops!) It's easier to drink calories than eat them I guess, and I'm just that kind of lazy I suppose. I have been trying to add some extra healthy things in, but it's a work in progress. I need to take out the awful things and find reasonable substitutes. (Like god no more hamburger helper EVER, soo much sodium, and i think it's turning my face red)ANYWAY I'm the queen of rambling. my bad

It said I had 2400 leftover I believe, plus the 700ish I ate. Also it said I burned over 1,000 calories from this 20 minute cardio workout ( I wish)

I would assume that's all related to the wrong weight. Be sure to recalculate everything now that your weight is fixed.
