Eat what you like just less of it.

I am a picky eater too. Try making a list of things you do like and add to it when something new occurs to you. You will likely end up with a list longer than you expected. You can then use it to pick and choose meals and it will give you more variety.

I tend to just pair pasta/rice/potatoes with chicken/pork/beef. Pick one from each group and go from there.

Well something that might be a bit more helpful than just 'eat less', is to figure out what textures it is you do like, and try to more healthier choices that fit the category. I've always been a fussy eater and part of the problem for me was texture and it took me a long time to figure that out. For me I really prefer crunchy to soft, so instead of cooking all my vegetables to soft like I grew up with, I found the vegetables I did like and instead ate it raw or only slightly cooked, from there I tried other foods that I previously didn't enjoy and just prepared it differently from how I'd had it previously to figure out if it was a taste problem or a texture problem. The way food is prepared and cooked can totally change the palatability of it and you just need to figure out what it is you want, and try to prepare foods accordingly.

That's really solid advice. You may want to consider changing your username though, just quietly.
