Morning all, first weigh in and no movement! Could it be because I need a poo, or cos I'm due on my monthly, or possibly not doing the calorie counting correctly???? Any suggestions. Please. I am a 44 year old hormonal female who goes gym 3x a week does kettlebells and walks daily. Any help to shift the bulk would be received with a smile ☺

All of the above! Be patient.... Is your exercise routine new or more intense than normal?

How are you determining your intake? Weighing all solids and measuring liquids? Guesstimates? Cups for everything? Checking entries have the correct info?

Exercise routine is same for a while, I do try and push myself more each time. Some measuring, some guesstimate, mainly scan food as I go

    Hi and welcome :)

    Some things to consider...

Make sure you're eating the correct amount of calories, i.e. that MFP has been told your correct age, height, activity level, etc.

It's your first week! Sometimes you won't see movement for three or four weeks. A lot of people recommend giving it 6 weeks to see if you're going about it the right way.

Accurate logging. It's pretty vital, especially if you have very little to lose.

Potential water retention is a possibility if you've stepped up your exercise.

    This is invaluable! Sticky posts.
