How does everyone stay motivated? I start off good and then slowly fall off. Help!

I always just have to remind myself why I'm doing it. It's so easy to let it slip, but be strong, and if you're craving something sweet/salty whatever, try to plan it into your next day to fit your calorie allowance! Those are my tricks at least! (I'm so guilty of doing the same thing though!)2

Hi @jescott1 ,
Motivation fades. I'd bet this happens to everyone. Here's some reading material you may find helpful:

a way for me to stay motivated is to set specific weight and/or fitness goals through out the year. for example: I want to lose 10 pounds by February 1st or I want to run 1 mile by my birthday, it could even be not eating any junk at that party your friend invited you to. small goals keep you motivated so it doesn't feel like you're going no where with your weight loss. the more goals you set and destroy the more you want to accomplish the next ones. it also helps to take pictures of your transformation so that when you feel like giving up or cheating you can look back at your progress and see how far you've come.1
