mainly the forums. Its good to learn new things and see how others are doing or what workouts people are trying. The thing I love about the app though is the barcode scanner. Saves alot of searching :)

My most favorite part is the food diary, the recipe tools, the community fora, the Hello Healthy articles and the Reports feature. I don't even pay for Premium!

I've applied my mfp education to helping a newly adopted kitty cat to lose his excess weight.

The ease of logging and recipe building as the app builds on its knowledge of me. Been logging daily for about 3 years so the app has a good history of my logging and knows me, so-to-speak, so it's pretty easy and quick to log meals and tweak recipes.

My husband has an account he rarely uses but when he does I'll sometimes log for him and what a pain it is to use his account that has little to no knowledge or history of his habits or mine.

The food and exercise diary. I'm getting better at using it daily. I not only use it to track my calories, but it's starting to help me get my IBS under control.

Im not sure if they changed it or im not as crazy anymore but back in the day i used to clean houses 3-8 hours a day.. id make a smoothie in the morning or even eggs and toast and then go log all my cleaning hours and eat like a PIG but quite often i was supposed go eat 1800 but the app told me i literally burnt 1800 or even more some days! It was nearly impossible to meet my calorie goal lol.. i did pretty good. But now i live a more normal life so i get fitness from elsewhere:)

Being able to log calories consumed.

Much easier than keeping track of it in an Excel spreadsheet or on paper.

I was actually pretty serious lol. I flat out did not know I could eat what I wanted to and manage weight loss though calorie restrictions. My take was I could eat salads all day, but if I had a twinkie I would gain weight. Not a very healthy outlook lol.
