Hi all-- I'm looking for appetizer /small plate ideas for book club. There will be 10 of us. I did homemade hummus and veggies at last meeting. Thanks

Baked brie platter with crackers, apples, nuts, and chutney, honey, or figs
Black bean salsa (black beans, corn, jalapeno, onion, garlic, lime vinaigrette) and tortilla chips
Stuffed mushrooms
Bruschetta - lots of topping possibilities, add some fancy olives and almonds to a platter for a Mediterranean vibe1 -
How about boiling some shrimp and offering several dipping sauces? Cocktail sauce, peanut sauce, Asian style soy dipping sauce, remoulade, etc. Recipes for dipping sauces I like:

Or steamed dumplings?
Or mini cheese balls with crackers and fruit like grapes. My sister brought mini cheese balls to Christmas parties this year. Here is the recipe she used. soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2016/08/masonable-mondays-3-cheese-balls.html

You can make a lentil spread with walnuts that is really delicious-it tastes like pate but only had lentils, onion and walnuts. Also a roasted red veggie and eggplant recipe is amazing-I always get tons of compliments on this one: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/roasted-eggplant-spread-recipe.html1

What book are you reading? Maybe match the food to the book location or theme.
Deviled eggs, spinach dip, olives, pickles, meatballs, cocktail sausages, tortilla pinwheels, fruit with yogurt dip, small tarts, mini muffins1
