Hello,

I have found that being held accountable is a huge key to success. I am a running coach (and have my own running coach) and have found that just knowing someone is there to see what you do (or don't do) helps with motivation. So I am going to throw my goals out there, and if anyone would like to follow along or share your goals with me, I'll gladly be a cheerleader for you!

My overall goal is to get to my goal "race weight". I have had success running at a weight between 170-185 for the past several years. I am somewhat conscious of my diet, but I think if I really fine-tune it, I can get into a lighter, stronger physical shape for some upcoming races. Here is what is on my calendar:

March = Shamrock Half Marathon - VA Beach (Goal = under 1:25)
April = Boston Marathon (Goal = Under 3 hours)
May = Apple Blossom 10k - Winchester, VA (Goal = under 36:00)
September = Kauai Marathon - Hawaii (Goal = have fun)
September = Yeti 100 miler - Abington, VA (Goal = finish)
November = JFK 50 miler - Boonsboro, MD (Goal = under 8:30)
December = Seashore 50k - Virginia Beach, VA (Goal = podium finish)

I am sure I will add a few more in there.

I am 40. I want to grab my fitness by the horns and see what I can really do in 2017.

Let's set some crazy goals!

Jeremy
