Does unsweetened tea count towards water goal? Or hot green tea?

Flavored water is still water. Tea is only flavored water. Even if you add sweetener - still water (but count any calories for what you add).1

I drink unsweetened decaf tea. My nutritionist said no and pushed plain water...my fat (bariatric) doctor said drink up...same thing.1
