My baby is almost 6 months old and before I got pregnant I was in great shape and down to the lowest I've been in a long time. Starting June 1st, I started counting calories again to try and get the rest of the weight off. I'm currently breastfeeding and that is the most important thing, I do not want to affect that and have my supply go down. I first started eating 1700-1800 a day and was losing quickly the first couple weeks, which I did not want to do (not healthy and could really affect supply), so I kept tracking during the week and having cheat times on the weekends. I also am able to exercise maybe 3 times a week burning 250-300 calories a time. I was still losing at a decent pace so basically the weekend is my cheat time...not every meal obviously but most of the time I wasn't worried about what I was eating and I still lost. I'm down 10 lbs since June 1st which is about 1.6 lbs a week...and only have maybe an additional 5-7 I'd like to lose. I guess I just don't know what to do. I like not having to track on the weekends because I work full time and my children are 6 months, 2, and 5, don't really have any spare time if you know what I mean. It's hard enough the way it is. Any recommendations from any other success stories of losing while breastfeeding? Thanks a million!!!! And have a wonderful Friday!!!!
