Cereal after workout

I just got done working out (weights mostly and some cardio), and I was wondering your thoughts on CEREAL (with eggs whites, ham/turkey, cheese on the side) after said workout. I usually opt for fruits as my "carbs" after workout, but today I am kind of wanting some Kashi cereal.

Thoughts?

    I eat cereal at least 3 times a week, post workout.

    If it fits your calories/macros, it's fine. Why would it be an issue?

    Nothing wrong with that! I often have a huge stack of whole wheat pancakes as my post workout meal. Don't fear the pasta/wheat carbs. Cereal is gooooood with a capital OOD! Enjoy.

    I am simply trying to watch my carb intake (including fruits), so I didn't want to push it.

    Just looking for the best approach.
