Hey guys!

I'm a college hockey player and train everyday but I want to get some gym sessions in (for training and it's just a stress reliever haha) I was wondering how to split my workouts. I'm planning to go 3-4 times a week. I am planning on one day upper body, one day lower body and one day full body. Does that sound about right?

Thanks!!! Feedback appreciated :)

Do they have coaches at college that could give you a program to follow. More training doesn't always mean better results. It's about quality over quantity doing the right training at the right time is far more important

I'd just do 3x full body

I would look at a full body workout 3 days a week. Since you play hockey, circuits would help build your endurance.

This is what I do. full body M,W,F with alternating exercises for each muscle group. I'm still active on 3 of the rest days too, usually walking or cardio/lots of stretching, and one day for a complete shut down/rest everything.

Seems to be working well so far.
