New to Tampa area - Active things to do?

Hello All! I've been in Wesley Chapel for about a year, but I work from home, so i don't have much social interaction. I was hoping to get some recommendations on some beautiful parks to walk/hike, or bike-riding paths by the water, or landmarks I should visit for a walk-through, etc. Really, just anything that will keep me moving whilst taking in some Bay-area sites. Thx in advance!

Not free, but I love them, Lowry Park Zoo, and for rainy days, the Museum Of Science and Industry across the street from USF

Hillsborough river park is awesome, they have a huge outdoor pool, you could hike or rent a canoe/kayak.
Ocala is not that far if you feel like taking a trip there.
Exit 300 on I-75 has a big park nearby where you coul hike

You could check the Meetup too for local groups doing all the things you are interested in.

Gasparilla starts next weekend. Google it. Tampa's version of Mardi Gras.
