Sweet tooth victim in need of help

Good morning, I need some help with this. I have no problem eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, but I always feel that I have to add something sweet. This is my down fall. I guess it's ok to eat some sweet, but my problem is once I start, I can't stop. I over indulge in it. Literally. I know a lot of it is boredom and stress and sweets are my comfort food of choice. However, I know that this is Not good for me nor is it healthy. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do in place of sweets? Any suggestions/advice is well appreciated. I am desperate. This thing is consuming my life and making me blow up like a well.
