Hi all,
I am going to a brunch today, and they are going to have fruit and other things I'd assume but they are also specifically making me vegan raspberry pancakes, scones, and bread.
I'm not sure what to do!!! I would feel bad not eating it because they specifically made all that stuff for me, no one else is vegan.
Help!

@cityruss to clarify, I can eat it but I'm trying to stay healthy and under my calorie goal and all that. I guess I'm just wondering how much I should eat of it so that it won't lead me off my track0

It will be difficult to estimate because you aren't cooking it, but use good judgement, eat reasonable portions, enjoy the meal, thank your gracious hosts, come home and log reasonable guesses for what you are. The nice thing about brunch, for me, is that while I do eat more food than I normally would for breakfast, I don't actually eat lunch so the calories usually work themselves out.
It's also important to remember when losing weight that this is about a lifestyle change, and social events like brunch with friends are going to keep happening, so learning how to accommodate them within your calorie goals (look at weekly goal instead of daily) is important.1
