Has anyone tried just lemon and cinnamon to detox?

There is no such thing as a detox unless you have a drug or alcohol problem, or your kidneys and aren't working properly. Or you've been acutely poisoned.12

hi Sammie!
There's actually no need to detox anything. The premise of a detox is that by drinking a certain beverage you are somehow flushing or removing toxic substances from your body. The entire premise is flawed because of the following:
a) Your liver and kidneys detox your body already.
b) If they didn't do this effectively you would need to go to the hospital.
c) Nobody has ever demonstrated the presence of environmental toxins or food toxins that are not cleared by your organs, and accumulate to dangerous levels, AND (key point here) are removed by special detox beverages.
If you'd like additional resources on this please let me know.
Finally Sammie, please understand that my intent here is to help. I don't mean this as an attack on you at all when I say that detoxing is useless and not something desirable.
Let me know if you have questions and good luck!

Nope. Lemon water might help you increase your hydration though if you like it but it certainly won't detox anything.5
