Getting to the gym

Having such a hard time getting to the gym. Need a few friends to urge me out of bed and to invest in that hour each day. At 50, you can't fool around anymore.

Good heavens I hope you can still fool around at 50. I am past that and still fool around.
Joking aside.
The gym is good, but if you can get to it, do something else. If you are just starting out set a consistent time apart for a walk each day. Build on that walk, time, exertion, and distance.
If you are at home look at YouTube for an in house walking programme.
If walking isn't you, look for 10 min workouts. Start with one and keep adding.
Find something that works for you and your goals. You don't have to love it, you just need to be consistent.
