Hi all, first time posting on here so hello!
Just looking for tips really. I'm 2 weeks in, despite jump start diets before, I finally come the realisation that it's a lifestyle change that I need not a quick fix!
I don't get home until 7pm from work so have my tea at work at 530pm, do people eat more and go over on there calorie goals for lunch and snacks and have a smaller dinner?
How much water should I be drinking realistically?
Do you have cheat days, I'm really strict throughout the week, however will have a takeaway over the weekend if I want one but will stay disciplined throughout the day.
Please share and hints/tips that have worked for you.
Thanks

Welcome to MFP. Be patient and give yourself time to figure out what works for you. Some folks like to eat a lot during the day and less in the evening. Others prefer to have lighter intake in the day and save for a big meal at night.
Water is good to keep you hydrated and to keep things moving along your digestive system. There's no concrete rule, but a lot of folks like to aim for 8 glasses in a day. I aim for 8 but often only have 6 plus my tea and coffee.
Cheat days vary a lot from person to person. I try not to have them because I eat in a small deficit each day. One big cheat day would ruin my whole week. Others have a more aggressive deficit during the week so a takeout on the weekend wouldn't be the end of the world.
My best tip is to make sure you're weighing and logging your foods and beverages accurately.0
