"In a few weeks I will be down a size or two and feeling stronger"! In a few weeks I will have completely transformed my mind and body. This is for me, my husband, my son, and my future grandchildren. Most of all I dare not mistreat my temple that God has provided another day. I want to be a source of inspiration and change.

Pepsi, Big Mac, Fries, Pizza, Cake, Cookies and Condiments you all can go straight to hell!!!!!!!!! :);)

Who's with me?????????

You learn to say no. Have a coffee if it's an option

Or ask for options you will eat. Or make the food fit and eat less for the rest of the day.

Depends on what sort of breakfast:)

IF it's low carb then sure - eat it. If it's donuts - then well - maybe not.

Maybe explain to boss that you really like and appreciate the breakfast but please don't be offended if I skip? OR - alternatively - request something that you can eat? Maybe just drink coffee/tea with them?

One thing not to do is to lie. Don't say no, I've got a bad stomach etc, just be up front and explain.

Make sure you say why and that its in everyone's benefit if you do maintain your healthy life style.

You may be surprised by the bosses action. Maybe they even join you on your journey and work with you?

    Does this help any?

Did OP say she was low carb?

OP if this is a regular occurrence then sounds like you need to figure out a strategy. What is the breakfast? Typical office fare like donuts and bagels? Fruit? Yogurt? Hot breakfast?

Are these breakfasts planned ahead? If so, can you work them into your day? I agree with talking to your boss and seeing if there is something that you enjoy that works with your current plan, but alternatively:

    1. Eat the breakfast and eat a smaller lunch that day

    2. Say "no thank you I already ate but I will have a coffee and catch up with you guys"

    3. Eat the breakfast and if it puts you over your calories today then adjust a little the remainder of the week.

Based on the replies it seems clear that the OP was modified. I think daily inspiration is great. Mine would different as no way am I giving up condiments. Hot sauce is a staple for me, and practically calorie free.

I'd be alright with Pepsi and Big Mac going straight to hell. I don't like those things anyway. But I know I'm not going to give up cookies or pizza for long.

But I think I get where you are coming from. Be kind to you body. We only get the one, right?

It was something about the boss bringing in/buying breakfast... Nothing to do with inspiration!

Ok guys and girls. Yes I changed the post. I felt a little bad after I wrote it because my boss is awesome. My bosses I should say. They travel a bit but when they are in town we have SAUSAGE BISCUITS from that arch place most mornings. These guys are great and at this point in my career I am happy to just be working for such great people. However, I am trying to lose weight and I wrote a post asking "how do I say no the breakfast". Well you guys are awesome and jumped right on it with a reply before I could even delete it (excuse my ignorance to how this works this is my first time posting anything). Anyway, I changed it wrote something I though to be motivating. Pretty much talking out loud about how I was feeling about food at the time. I hope that clears things up.

BTW I am starting Jullian's 6 week 6 pack abs level. I was winded and only did 15 minutes. Has anyone tried this?

That's great that you have such a generous boss and also that you felt like your post wasn't fair to him (I didn't think ut was unfair or ungrateful at all, for the record). Maybe talk to him and let him know that while you appreciate his generosity and the team building, would it be possible to change your sausage biscuit out for an egg white delight or a yogurt parfait, both still available from the drive through but might be a little easier to fit into your day. Tell him you are trying to get healthy so you can be an even more stellar employee for this great team.
