Are you trying to lose 15 pounds total? When you are close to goal weight loss can be really slow. Maybe your weekly goal is a little aggressive.

Filling foods aren't the same for everyone - components: protein, fiber, and fat. Some people find fat free fiber filling - not me. others find fat free protein filling - not me.

In other words, you will need to experiment a little.

I usually find old fashioned oatmeal (not instant) to be a really filling breakfast, and you can add whatever you want to it. I also like brown rice with dinner (if you can spare the calories) as it makes me fuller quicker.

For me: protein, fiber, vegetables (add bulk), caffeine (at least if I'm wanting to eat I'm often happy just having a cup of black coffee), just eating a diet that feels satisfying (depends on what you like).
  • Do you like sweet potatoes? When I'm ravenous, I sometimes make a huge mound of sweet potato mash with a spoon of mustard swirled in. 300g is around 200 calories and is amazingly filling. Add a little protein (eg. lean skinless chicken) and some veg and you won't be hungry for a loooong time, I guarantee it.

Oatmeal, made with water and a spoon of crunchy peanut butter, is my breakfast of choice for before my workout. It's yummy and I'm full for HOURS afterwards.

Get your lean protein, with some healthy fats, and some complex carbs, and you'll achieve that satiety you need.
