Overnight Oats Newbie

I tried overnight oats for the first time last night/this morning. They were yummy! I can totally see myself eating this, and experimenting with different flavor versions of this.
I used about a quarter of a banana, sugar free apple sauce and cinnamon for flavor. HOWEVER MFP shows about 23 grams of sugar, holy cow!!!! Any suggestions on how to lower that? I used 1% milk and nonfat greek yogurt. I really think this breakfast idea would work for me, but I need less sugar. Thanks!

Don't use the banana. That probably where most of the sugar came from.1

The dairy products have lactose, which counts as a sugar, so don't freak out.
I had overnight oats this morning too. 1/2C oats, 1C milk, 1/4C almonds, and 1/4C blueberries. Totaled to 18g of sugar, and 13 of that was from the milk. I'd worry more about the total carbohydrates number. I have significant insulin resistance, so I need to watch my macros as well. I focus on getting no more than 150g of carbs and in the range of 25g of fiber, while hitting my calorie target. If I do that and exercise faithfully, I stay in a good blood-sugar zone.

Chocolate protein powder, pb2, and 2% milk is a good combo (according to my husband...I don't eat them)1
