Doing IIFYM (counting macros) and need accountability

About 12 years ago I lost over 150 pounds and got to my goal weight using IIFYM (counting my macronutrients and keeping them within a specific ratio). I kept it off for about 8 years and then had fertility issues, IVF, surgical procedures, injected with hormones daily, had back surgery, etc., and gained back about 60 pounds in the last 4 years. We finally adopted our beautiful daughter and I'm done with the crazy hormones, and I'm ready to get back at it! Trying to stay under 1,776 calories/day and I am finding that my body is REALLY resistant to losing it this time. I've been at this for 10 days with only a 1-pound loss (which, truly, I'm okay with. I lost it slow the first time, too). Has anyone had success with carb cycling if you're not doing crazy gym stuff? I'm only supposed to lightly cycle for 30 minutes a day because of my back.

Hey! I'm also doing IIFYM, it's a first for me and it's definitely been a learning curve. I'm still figuring it out day by day. So far I'm loving it though. I'm really not familiar with eating this way and not working out. I do have lower back issues though and some hip problems so what I do at the gym is usually modified. I can't see how you wouldn't be success though with the right macro amounts. Btw great job job losing 150lbs! That's an amazing accomplishment!
