I am almost 40 years old and my 9 year girl old is a BJJ and wrestling beast. My husband is a retired boxer and we both do arm wrestling tournaments. He is a truck driver and attends BJJ classes with our daughter when he is home but for the most part, I just watch. On Thursday I decided enough watching, time to get on the mat. I am 5' 6" and weigh a muscular 275. I am not small but I don't look that heavy either.

I am 42 and 214 lbs. I have been doing Jiu Jitsu for a few months and I love it! I am hoping to compete later this year.0

You and your husband do arm wrestling tournaments!?! #relationshipgoals I say, get on the mat and learn some new fun moves! It will be great for your endurance, flexibility, and coordination. Plus, your family will be even cooler than it already is. What a great example for your daughter that you are taking up a new sport!0
