Drink a lot of water and eat high protein foods to help you feel fuller.0

Do you like peanut butter? Avocados? Olives? Think healthy fats - if your body is craving fat, think of the healthy fats you like and try to make a snack with one of those.
I crave baked goods when Aunt Flow visits - peanut butter and honey on whole grain toast usually shuts her up.
I also crave steak and mixed greens (probably for the iron and protein).0 -
I actually eat a little bit of chocolate everyday so that I don't go on a huge binge. Junk food is fine in moderation. FIt it into your calories. No use suffering more while already having to bleed for a week. A little chocolate one week of a month. A nice reward for the hard work the rest of the month. Also! Exercise - more calories (perhaps more chocolate? Sorry it's my TOM too.) and it helps with cramps.0

Hot bath! And eat some Iron and Protein--it's what I crave when I'm making new blood.
Maybe if you are eating something else and relaxed your body won't insist on the junk.
Worth a try?0 -

Also I drink so much water like 8 to 10 cup a water a day but I don't go pee like I drink that much. Do you think I'm retaining water.0

I get a bit more exercise in to give myself a little more leeway. If I go over beyond that, I don't sweat it or let it derail my efforts (like I used to let it).0

Lots of water
Maybe a water pill to help with the bloat
Reduce the salt
Take a hot (Epson) salt bath
Pure Protein has a Chocolate Caramel bar that tastes like a candy bar. WHile not the best...way better than eating a Snickers bar.
I made some yummy energy balls from PB, Oatmeal, chocolate chips, almonds and honey - great little snack to curb the sweet tooth.
Go for a walk - keep moving. Its only 5 days - you will survive!!0 -

How much do you weigh? 8-10 is not a *lot* of water at all. You should drink 1/2 your weight (in ounces) in water per day. Give or take depending on exercise level. YOu need to drink MORE to flush out your body. Sounds weird, but the science is - the less water you drink the more you retain to keep your muscles and organs working properly.0 -

Holy...I didn't realize that...I'm at 265 lbs...so I should be drinking at least 16 - 8oz glasses of water per day? I do love learning new things...I'll up my water intake immediately. I am working out with weights now and doing cardio the other 4 days of the week so I best start ASAP. Thanks for the tip!!

I'm 244.8 so how much should I drink.0

about 122oz per day (15 glasses); again - give or take! I'm 144 and I drink minimum 12 glasses per day. Big run days I'm over 16 glasses easy!! (not to mention I live in a very hot climate).
But keeping your body hydrated will help it function better. Water will help flush your body therefore retaining less water. Especially if you are working out - your body retains water to repair your muscles. So again - up the water intake to help this process.0 -

If its TOM then just have a bit of chocolate, no biggie. If you realllllly can't bring yourself to do that, perhaps some fresh fruit with a bit of creme?0
