Aerobic Exercising with bung knee

Hey guys I am new to MFP. I have been at it a week and lost around 2 lbs so I suppose I am on track.
Unfortunately it is hard to do a lot of aerobic exercise and I snapped my left PCL. I still play some badminton and walk around 2 kms per day with the aid of a brace but that's about as hard as I can push myself. My knee won't allow me to jog anymore.
Does anyone have any great tips for weight loss exercises I can do with such a knee as I have? Any tips greatly appreciated

I lost my PCL (and 90% of my lateral meniscus) way back in 1991 when an idiot car driver used my knee to dismantle the front of his vehicle.
Cycling is my thing and I get no adverse reaction from my injured knee at all - set a new PB for cycling 129 miles in a day and did 4000+ miles last year.
Would say that proper cycling shoes make a big difference when you have less than perfect knees.
Really working on your leg (especially quad) strength in the gym is also important for knee stability.
In contrast to my cycling exploits my knee only has about 2 or 3 miles a week of running in it, quite a contrast!2 -
Swimming with a pull buoy will isolate your upper body and is one of the few ways to maintain or build aerobic fitness whilst avoiding use of your knees / ankles / feet etc. If you're not a confident swimmer then what better time than now to get some Adult Swim Lessons in2

I have arthritis in both knees so that ended jogging for me. I have been using a rowing machine, doing non-impact kettle bell exercises, and walking on the treadmill. On the treadmill I keep the speed constant at 3.5mph with a slight incline which is a comfortable pace for my knees, and I crank up the incline to get the heart rate up for intervals.1
